The thermometer instantly measures up to 950 degrees Fahrenheit (510 degrees Celsius) with an accuracy of +/-(1 percent of rdg + 2 degrees Fahrenheit/1 degree Celsius). You can adjust emissivity from between 0.10 to 1.00 to increase measurement accuracy for different surfaces.
