Surface Roughness Tester is designed to measure roughness of material in 2 parameters (Ra, Rz) using the built-in Diamond pin probe.
Compatible with four standards: ISO, DIN, ANSI and JIS.
It has 4 wave filtering methods (RC, PC-RC,GAUSS & D-P).
In addition, said parameters can be downloaded directly to PC via the optional RS-232 CD software & cables.
This tester is widely used in production site to measure surface roughness of various machinery-processed parts and calculate corresponding parameters.
Easy measurement can be done by placing the sensor on the surface then uniformly slides along the surface by driving the mechanism inside the tester. The sensor measures the roughness of the surface via the sharp built-in probe.
This roughness causes displacement of the probe which results in change of inductive amount of induction coils so as to generate analogue signal, which is in proportion to the surface roughness at output end of phase-sensitive rectifier. The exclusive DSP processes and calculates then outputs the results clearly on LCD.
